AZ Nikolaas was looking for a Project Manager Construction, to replace an employee on sick leave. The replacement period was at least 6 months.

Desired profile:

Architect or Engineer by training
You can present a solid experience in an equivalent position
Experience in a government environment is a strong asset
You are able to set clear priorities and maintain a cost-conscious overview of all ongoing projects and actions
You are strong communicative, negotiation skills, a leader type and people manager.
You are strong in setting up a reporting methodology
You have an excellent knowledge of the Dutch language.
Knowledge of other national languages is a plus

Job description

Job content of the Project Manager Construction:

You are responsible for the follow-up of the awarded projects from concept to completion (new construction, renovation and smaller conversion works).
You are responsible for ensuring the quality of the services and products offered.
Through clear and correct reporting, you manage the planning and take into account budgets, progress and deadlines.
You manage a team of 6 people including architects and site managers.
You ensure a constructive relationship with the internal stakeholders and work very closely with the technical department.
