Airports play an increasingly important role worldwide as economic growth centres for their countries. Brussels Airport Company also wants to pay attention to this and is looking forward to expanding its support services to improve this economic ecosystem. Offering concierge services is one of the ways to support employees in achieving a work-life balance.
Brussels Airport Company, in cooperation with Freestone, carried out a market study into the supply and potential of concierge services. The services that are currently available on the market were checked against the wishes of Brussels Airport Company with a large diversity of services offered: digital lockers, crèches, dry cleaning, etc. These services are initially for its own employees (1,000). In a later stage, this can be extended to employees working in and around the airport (max. 22,000).
In a second phase, specifications were written and published for the concierge services at Brussels Airport Company.
